Anton Schoeman, Chapter President

Anton Schoeman has more than 20 years of Information Technology experience and is a highly experienced IT Architect who has successfully delivered numerous solutions across a wide range variety of IT platforms in global organizations within Australia and South Africa. He has extensive experience in leading architecture engagements to ensure the architecture practice becomes a trusted adviser and reference point for stakeholders, that allows for a high quality customer outcomes and architecting the enterprise solution-by-solution. It is his aim is to reduce complexity in solutions to deliver business values and achieve business outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electronics degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and served as an Associate Director during the start-up phase of a very successful joint venture between Sanlam, the largest South African life insurance and Investment Company and a division of Macquarie bank. Anton is currently working as a Business Solution Architect with Transport for NSW.

Chris Johnson, Chapter Vice President

Chris Johnson is a professional Architect, strategist and change leader with a passion for driving value, enabling business strategy and successful program execution, through the effective application of architecture principles, practice and discipline. Chris has 10 years experience shaping and delivering complex multi year transformation programs and start-up businesses in the financial services sector across insurance, wealth, capital markets, banking, risk and treasury. He is a passionate advocate for architecture practice, mentoring and professional development and is focused on pragmatic architecture leadership and a risk based continuous delivery approach to project execution. Chris has a Master of Science (Computing) at University Technology Sydney and is currently working as a Senior Architect at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia as the domain lead for Group Treasury.


Stefano Bianchini, Board Member

Stefano has over twenty years of IT experience working for consulting companies (Accenture, CapGemini), software vendors (Ariba) and on the client side (ING, National Australian Bank). He has been involved in several engagements in various international locations around the world. Stefano has played key architecture roles in the design, development and delivery of complex multi-platform IT solutions for large clients. His focus in the last ten years has been leading architecture teams in multi million dollar programs in complex and fast pace environments. 
In this role, he has been working on the client side acting as the link between the business and technology, gaining an understanding of the key business issues and strategies, and defining pragmatic solutions to deliver business values and achieve business outcomes. He holds a Master of Business in Information Technology Management (MBITM) from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and is the Founding/current Chair of the MBITM Board
