Welcome to the New York Chapter
The Chapter seeks to develop IASA in the NY Metro Area, as the pre-eminent Association for Information, IT, Business, Data, Solution, Infrastructure and Enterprise Architects in the NY Metro Area and to support positioning IASA certiﬁcation as the national industry standard for IT Architecture professionals.
The Chapter mission:
Provide the highest standards in education and certiﬁcation in IT Architecture in the NY Metro Area
- Build capacity by augmenting the number of certiﬁed IT Architecture professionals serving in the NY Metro Area marketplace
- Work towards the development of "professional status" for all varieties of IT and business architects
- Promote thought leadership and collaboration among IT and business architecture professionals!!
- Represent the interests of the membership and profession in the NY Metro Area.

CAT is an Enterprise Architect responsible for aligning technology strategy with business strategy. CAT’s activities are focused around identifying synergies across the businesses and collaborating with business and technology to enable leveraging best practices across the enterprise. CAT’s current role is Enterprise Architect for Microsoft’s Enterprise Strategy and Cloud Services. Prior to joining her current employer, CAT has held positions as Chief Enterprise Architect for McGraw-Hill, as well as positions at UBS, Ernst & Young Consulting, Goldman Sachs, Information Builders, Inc., and IBM.
Peenak Inamdar has actively been building reporting and information systems in the education sector for the last 6 years and is currently a Solutions Architect at Wireless Generation Consulting. At Wireless Generation he has been responsible for the solutioning, design, and implementation of consultative projects with educational non-profits and educational agencies. Prior to joining Wireless Generation, Inamdar was the lead software architect at The Grow Network / McGraw-Hill, an educational reporting products and services company.
While at The Grow Network, he started a software architecture practice, provided management with technical strategy, and led the design and implementation of multiple software based products.
Rita Eaton is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience serving the public and private sector as a programmer, systems analyst, business analyst, IT architect, project manager and manager. She has a Master’s in Computer Science from Montclair State University, and has earned the Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) designation from IEEE Computer Society, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
Currently Rita is teaching computer science at Brookdale Community College.
In addition to being founder and current Secretary of the New York Iasa chapter Bill Zack is also an Architect Evangelist for Microsoft where he specializes in leading-edge Microsoft technologies and developing architectural solutions for Microsoft customers. He is a frequent public speaker on these topics. Prior to joining Microsoft he acted as a Consultant, Architect, Administrator, Developer, and System Integrator.
He has also authored several computer books and white papers.
Giuseppe Turitto, is a developer with over fifteen years of experience in different technologies and architectural patterns, working with teams from 1 to 100+. He focuses in the business requirements, information flow and user experience.
Currently he is an Independent Consultant, Architect, and Developer, using C #, Python or Ruby. His professional experience included working as Architect, Developer and Team Leader for a Web Based Fund of Hedge Fund Administration Platform, The Bank of New York, International Fund Administration, Arroba Digital Systems (Spain), Banesco (a Venezuelan Financial Institution) and Sybase Venezuela.
He is passionate about Technical and Professional Communities, Social Marketing, and Data Visualization Techniques.
